Fix-ed Showcases Work At Logan Social Enterprise Forum

Fix-ed program leaders Stephen Robinson and Dwayne Scicluna recently attended the Logan Social Enterprise Forum to share some of the program outcomes and network with the broader community and collaborators.

Also at the forum were Fix-ed collaborators Substation33, who have previously visited the school and are providing support, particularly when it comes to using e-waste as a potential source to make the scooter batteries.

Throughout the morning, there were a number of presentations from local, state government and social enterprise founders, a panel discussion of igniting social enterprise in our regional communities and ecosystem leaders providing updates on the social enterprise movement, of of which were visiting from Victoria.

It was great for the Fix-ed to get some further exposure and discuss further opportunities to collaborate.

Since the forum, this week, the students are making great progress in fully reassembling the fixed mobility scooters and are on track to have them finished by the end of the year.
