High School Repair Program Sees Students Fix Mobility Scooter

The Fixer Crew have been working hard on the repair of one of the broken mobility scooters. Originally donated by active scooters, the scooter had seen better days and was not operational. After a previous session which saw students learn about typical components and troubleshooting, the scooter was fully stripped ready for a new life.

Students have fully disassembled the scooter including all electric and mechanical components. Beyond getting it working again for use in the community, all parts will be fully restored, with students gaining a variety of valuable knowledge.

One of the scooters being fully repaired and restored was donated by Active Scooters.
